What you'll practise in Parrs Wood
Lessons build from basic control on the residential roads off Wilmslow Road through to roundabout technique at the Parrs Wood interchange, dual carriageway driving on Kingsway and parallel parking on the busier shopping streets.
Local roads & tricky junctions
The Parrs Wood roundabout and the East Didsbury junctions are the main test of nerve, with lane selection needing to be decided early. Add the entertainment centre entrances, the tram crossings at East Didsbury and school-time congestion, and you get very realistic practice.
Nearest DVSA test centre
West Didsbury test centre is only minutes away, so Parrs Wood learners get to rehearse the actual test routes regularly. That familiarity is one of the biggest confidence boosters we see before test day.
Local landmarks & pickup points
Pickups from Parrs Wood High School, East Didsbury station, the Tesco and cinema complex, and homes across M20.
